Dear Greenway ESC members and friends,

A meeting of the Niagara Greenway Environmental Standing Committee (GESC) has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2008 beginning at 11:00 AM. It will held at the New York Power Authority Power Vista Community Room, 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, New York. As previously agreed to, this meeting will immediately follow the Niagara ESC meeting which will begin at 9:00 AM.

The agenda for this meeting consists of a review of action items from the February 15, 2008 GESC meeting, which is attached, and new items including:

• A request for each GESC member to provide a letter from their organization designating its representative and alternate.
• Election of  a Vice Chairperson
• Discussion on how to solicit project funding proposals
• Other items of interest to the GESC
